Pickle It

Hello Reader!

Last month I tried something a little different with the blog, and instead of posting a series of new recipes, I decided to post a recipe series. What's the difference?

Well, it means I decided to pick a theme for the month and create, test, and post recipes that were all different but all the same.

If you follow me over on IG(if you don't, feel free to check out my page via the button at the bottom of this email), then you already know that throughout the month of August I shared 5 new, easy, and delicious recipes, all of which were part of my simple refrigerator pickling series. Which I entitled Pickle It.

Pickle It began as a random idea I had one afternoon after deciding I was going to give pickled watermelon a try. It got me thinking: what else can I pickle? What else can I create an easy refrigerator pickling recipe for?

In the end, I got to share 5 super simple, super yummy, and beyond easy-to-make pickling recipes!

Some of which feature old favorites, while some are new and exciting, and some are things I never would have thought to pickle before this!

So be sure to check out these recipes, give them a try, or save them for later. And if you do make them, be sure to leave a comment on the recipe and let me know what you thought!

Hello Reader! Part of me feels like I've sent this email a 100 times before, but I just can't help myself! Autumn, if you haven't guessed, is my favorite time of the year, and I especially love spending time in the kitchen during these chilly months and using all the wonderful, delicious seasonal foods and flavors. And in my mind, nothing screams autumn quite like pumpkin. Which is why I couldn't help sharing these yummy recipes yet again (yes, I know I do it every year) So here are ten of my...

Hello Reader! It seems it's that time of year again, football is in full force, post season baseball is ramping up(especially for those of us here in WI!) And well, let's just say sports are on a lot at my house. And if we're not watching them, they are being talked about, thought about, and looked forward to, and I'm not even that crazy about them. I may not be the biggest fan, and I can go weeks without turning on a football game(not to say I don't watch a lot of them), but I do live with a...

Hello Reader! This time of year always feels a bit crazy and beyond busy to me. I love the fall, and I love getting back into the flow of a nice routine after running here, there, and everywhere during the summer. But I'm guessing I'm not the only one who finds this time of the year a bit overwhelming too. Between work, school, the changes in the seasons, and all the things I suddenly need to get done before the first frost, I'm often looking for simple ways to save a little time. One of the...
